The Open edX platform provides very rich data that can be used for tracking student progress, improving content, and answering research questions. Many of these goals can be accomplished using the Open edX Insights tool, but occasionally more custom tools are required. This tutorial will show how to build custom analytics tools using the open source D4M library.
We are aiming to make this tutorial hands-on! The code, notebooks, and data used in this tutorial is available through github. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop and follow along!
